Nickiesha Wilson is a 16-time All American and 8-time Collegiate Champion. She is the only hurdler in NCAA History to record a top two finish in both the 100 hurdles and the 400 hurdles at the same NCAA Championship and also the only hurdler in NCAA history to record a top 3 finish in both hurdle events in consecutive years, 2007 & 2008. Following her sophomore season at LSU, Nickiesha placed 4th in the 400 hurdles at the IAAF World Championships in Osaka, Japan. She was the only collegiate to advance to a World Championship Final that year. Nickiesha also won a NAIA National Championship in the 400 hurdles and placed 2nd in the 100 hurdles for Oklahoma Baptist University in 2006. No other NAIA athlete has ever accomplished this feat.
In addition, Nickiesha is the only hurdler in NCAA history to win the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles at the prestegious Texas Longhorn Relays. Nickiesha is the 2008 Penn Relays 100 hurdles champion and ran the anchor leg on the shuttle hurdle relay that set an NCAA record. Nickiesha was part of two collegiate team championships during her three year collegiate career.
